Happy Birthday River!!!!
It's official my little boy is 1 year old.. amazing.
At 12:21am on February 11th, 2006 River was born weighing 7 lbs 4 oz and 20 inches long. He came out not crying because he was a sicky baby and spent 5 days in the NICU to stablize his blood sugar, billirubin levels and temperature.
It wasn't long before he was home and doing wonderfully. Before we knew it our little helpless baby was able to move around and able to "communicate" what he needs.
Now it's been 1 year since he was born and boy oh boy how he has changed!
- He is now about 23 1/2 lbs and 30 inches long (we'll find out exact measurements on Tuesday.
- He has 7 teeth! and more on the way.
- He's able to walk around like a big boy
- He's eating table food exclusively now
- He can say "mama", "dada", "baba", "ni ni" (night night)
It's official... my baby isn't a baby anymore :(
